The project is called Hidden Deep. The authors describe the game as a mixture of a sci-fi 2D Action & Exploration and a thriller set approximately 1.6 km below the ocean.
Players will take command of the expeditionary group, which will determine why the connection with the scientists was lost. It will be possible to take control or give orders to subordinates. They promised about 20 hours of story campaign and a level editor.
The studio notes that the game is inspired by the films Aliens, The Thing, and the first part of the video game Half-Life. If you watch the trailer, you will see references to famous horror movies.
